Our team is excited to resource you with what we're calling, Parenting Conversations! We've asked couples to share with you what they've learned throughout their parenting journey, as well as ways they've allowed God to be the center of their home.
Pastor Hamp and Colette Greene takes a few moments to sit down with you and reflect on what they've learned during the past 25 years of parenting three children. Join them as they discuss different topics such as the Bible, values, outside influences and more!Along with each video comes a discussion guide that gives you a chance for you and your spouse to talk through questions around the topic, as well as a practical action step!

What is Motion Night?

Motion Night takes place the second Wednesday of every month and is our catalyst event to help students experience God, meet lots of new friends, and get connected to their next step. Motion Nights will be hosted regionally at our Auburn East, Columbus, Gadsden, Grants Mill, Huntsville, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, and Riverchase campuses. Transportation will be available for campuses traveling to a Motion Night location. For more information click here!

What is Motion Midweek?

Motion Midweek takes place the third, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays of each month. These gatherings are available for every campus and exist to disciple students through the Word of God and allow them to develop deep friendships with other students from their campus. Motion Midweek will consist of powerful worship, a devotional message, and age-specific small groups.

What is Motion Conference?

Motion Conference is our annual 3-day gathering for all middle school, high school, and college students. The conference takes place in Birmingham, Alabama, and welcomes guest churches from all over the world to join us as we hear from guest speakers and artists.

What is the 252?

252 is our summer leadership program based off of the scripture Luke 2:52. It is not only a lot of fun, but it also includes hands-on ministry training, in-depth teachings by the Highlands staff, and growth through life-giving relationships. If you commit to a semester of 252, you will grow in your relationship with God like never before!

Are there small groups for students?

YES! We offer small groups for middle school, high school, and college students at every campus. Your student can find a group through our online directory here.

What do we offer for Middle School on Sunday mornings?

We encourage middle school students to “Worship One, Serve One” on Sundays! This means that they attend a service with their family and friends, and then dedicate another service time to serving others on the Dream Team. Whether on the greeter team, in Highlands Kids, or in the production booth, your middle schooler can go through the Growth Track and begin making a difference wherever they are!

How can I serve in Highlands Students?

There are several ways that you, as a parent, can serve our Highlands Students! You can lead a small group for students, serve at Motion Night, or serve at our annual conference. To learn more about how to get involved, you can go through the 3-step Growth Track at your campus. Check it out here!

Can my student serve on the Dream Team?

Absolutely! We encourage all students to be involved and serve on the Dream Team. For middle school students, one of the best ways they can serve is to join the JV Dream Team within Highlands Kids. They can do this by going through the Growth Track and selecting the JV team. High school and college students are welcome to join the Dream Team as well! Click here for more information, times, and locations for the Growth Track at your campus.
